Glasgrid.The Glasgrid pavement reinforcement
system including its protective coating
has been in service for over 20 years
and its excellent performance has been
well documented and validated in countless
installations around the world.
Glasgrids protective coating is a proprietary polymeric coating designed
to protect the fiber glass reinforcement from mechanical damage from
the manufaturing and installation processes.It contains polymers that
penetrate the fiberglass bundles effectively coating the individual glass
filaments .
The Glasgrid coating is also designed to optimise the chemical compatibility
between the Glasgrid and the overlay ensuring good bond between the lifts
of asphalt pavement.
Tensar ARS Ltd have signed
an agreement to become licensed installers
of Tensar Internationals range of
asphalt reinforcement systems .We
have already completed two successful
installations of the Glasstex systems
at West Kent College for Kent CC(2800sqm)
and Lavender Hill for London Borough
of Enfield.(3200sqm).
